A recreational zone, this city-owned pool also offers twin ice arenas servicing mainly local hockey teams, as well as a large gymnasium and a fitness studio. But the real draw is the five-acre indoor waterpark and its feature waterslide, the Pepsi Thunder a six-storey high climb with a twisting descent. There are four other slides, as well as two hot tubs, a dive tank and a wave pool churning out meter-high play waves. There are kiddie pool areas for toddlers also.
