The centuries old Hudson Bay Company's local flagship presides over downtown's Stephen Avenue Mall. Its white terra-cotta building boasts five floors of merchandise. The goods run the spectrum from inexpensive house brands to designer duds, often set up in well-defined areas. In other words, Tommy Hilfiger has his space while Ralph Lauren is down and over a bit on the men's wear floor. The basement encompasses the Market Square area, with fresh deli and bakery goods and endless floor space devoted to kitchen, bathroom and bedroom goods.
